Dental Care

The storing of personal information is a necessary part of providing our patients with safe, effective dental care.  In line with legal and professional standards we collect, store and where appropriate, share information.  We collect both personal data (i.e. name, address, telephone number) and sensitive data (i.e. medical information) and we take our responsibilities for the integrity and security of this data very seriously.  We do not send out unsolicited advertising or marketing materials to patients or the general public.

 

Collection and use of data

Information will only be retained once a commitment to engage in our services has been made. Enquiries regarding our services whether in person or via our webpage will not be stored. However, visitors to our webpage should be aware that the site was created through Wix.com who do use cookies which allow some tracking or monitoring of users information. Their privacy policy can be viewed at www.wix.com which also has advice on how to delete or block cookies.

 

We have a Facebook page for communicating and sharing information, users who ‘like’ or follow the practice should be aware that privacy implications on social network depend on individual privacy settings and any interactions with Social Media features would be in line with their privacy policies.  Full details regarding Facebooks privacy policy can be viewed at www.facebook.com

 

Information provided to the practice in regard to applications for job openings will be used for the sole purpose of processing the application, and will be deleted/securely destroyed as soon as the data is no longer needed. For unsuccessful candidates this would be a maximum of one year.

 

Storage of data

The practice and our service providers take technical, physical and organizational security measures in order to protect all personal data obtained from accidental or intentional manipulation, loss, destruction or access by unauthorized persons.  Our data processing and security measures are regularly reviewed and improved to fall in line with technological developments.
